IUD insertion and removal is a medical procedure where a Doctor places or removes an intrauterine device (IUD), a small, T-shaped contraceptive device, into or from the uterus. This procedure is used for long-term birth control and can be effective for several years. In addition to contraception, IUDs can also be used for managing heavy menstrual bleeding and reducing the risk of endometrial hyperplasia in women undergoing estrogen replacement therapy.

Offering comprehensive cervical screening services, including the option for self-testing.
Our cervical screening program involves the collection of cells from the cervix to detect any changes that could indicate the presence of precancerous or cancerous cells.
We understand that undergoing cervical screening can be a sensitive experience, so we aim to make every patient feel comfortable and supported throughout the process. Our compassionate team provides a safe and private environment, ensuring patients receive the best possible care and convenience in maintaining their health.
Performed by the Doctor using a speculum to collect cervical cells.
Frequency: Every 2 years for those aged 21-65, depending on guidelines.
Comfort Level: May be uncomfortable but is quick.
Performed by the patient at home using a self-collection kit provided by your doctor during your consultation. Once the sample is collected, you can drop it back at the practice to be sent to the laboratory for testing.
Frequency: Every 5 years for those aged 30-65.
Comfort Level: Generally more comfortable and private.
